This sponge is definitely unique and I have mixed feelings about it. I’ve used it off camera today and during application I decided to do something different. I applied my foundation on the sponge and then applied it directly to my face. O H N O. Girl. I was riding the struggle bus because it gave me so much texture due to the fact that the sponge has minuscule hairs that sweep the foundation as opposed to blending it into the skin. I honestly didn’t notice any difference in how much product I was using even though it claimed to save 50-70% of my makeup. The only difference with this sponge and every other beauty sponge on the market is the texture, price, density and blendability. I do enjoy this for stiffer products like the cream contour stick as well as powder just because of the way this sponge was built.
